My now-husband and I hosted a welcome party for about 50 guests during our wedding weekend here, and it was perfect! Hosting our get-together in a home instead of a brewery or other commercial venue made it feel much more welcoming and intimate. Andy was super easy to work with, very communicative, and accommodating. He worked with his neighbors to ensure we had enough street parking, and his house rules were incredibly reasonable. The home itself is gorgeous and the open format with various indoor/outdoor seating created a wonderful flow for our guests. Not to mention the unbeatable sunset view! Thanks so much Andy for being a dream to work with! I hope we have more excuses to hang out at your house in the future, ha!

The house was perfect for our shoot. Andrew was a wonderful host and his place was pristine and beautifully appointed. The entire experience was up to our expectation. I highly recommend this house as the perfect location - both inside and out - if you need a beautiful interior, and a warm and welcoming environment for your next shoot.

Tips on How to Organize Weddings in Thousand Oaks

Organizing a wedding can be an overwhelming process, but these simple tips will help make it a bit easier. Whether you're planning a small gathering or a large event, following these guidelines will ensure that your special day goes off without a hitch.

Research Venues: Before you book anything, research different venues in and around Thousand Oaks so that you can find the perfect one for your wedding. Consider factors such as size, location, amenities, and cost when making your decision.

  • Set Your Budget: Determine how much you’re willing to spend on the event upfront and then allocate funds accordingly throughout the wedding planning process. Sticking to your budget will help keep costs under control and prevent any potential financial stress down the line.

  • Create a Vision Board: This is a great way to get inspired and stay organized throughout the planning process. Use Pinterest boards or physical posterboards to create mood boards with images of decorations, flowers, outfits, and other elements of your dream wedding.

  • Hire Professionals: Unless you have experience with event planning or design, it’s best to hire professionals who are knowledgeable about organizing weddings in Thousand Oaks. From caterers and photographers to florists and DJs, having the right team on board will guarantee success on your big day.

  • Schedule Meetings: Once all of your vendors are booked, it’s important to schedule meetings so that you can discuss details such as preferred styles, color palettes, timelines, menus and the like. Make sure everyone is in sync about what needs to be done before the big day arrives.

  • Make Checklists: Breaking down tasks into smaller chunks will help minimize any stress associated with organizing a wedding in Thousand Oaks. Create checklists for each vendor with items listed that must be completed before the date of the wedding and cross off items as they are completed so that everything is done on time.
