Great space (and great coffee)! We used this for a team meeting and I would book again. During the busy morning hour there was noise but it was pretty quiet the rest of the day.

Nice office space in unexpected location. Just beyond the door is a very cute, hip coffee shop. Room was ready with coffee and water, plus white board and TV. Easy to coordinate- our reservation was last minute. Music from the coffee shop can be heard in your room but it was not disruptive to our meeting. We’d book there again.

About Nashville

Nashville, the capital of Tennessee and the seat of Davidson County, is an attractive and accessible city. Part of the city is on the Cumberland River which is well connected by port facilities. Nashville has a very hilly terrain, which is home to temperate and subtropical plants. The summers in Nashville are hot, although there is abundant rainfall and its mild winters are accompanied by light snowfall.

Nashville is nicknamed Music City for a reason—it's the hometown of country music and is also heavily associated with bluegrass, blues, classic rock, and R&B. Music fans shouldn't miss catching a show at the iconic Ryman Auditorium or the quaint Listening Room Cafe. Likewise, visiting the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, which is dedicated to the historical importance of country music in America, is also worthwhile.

The city has a robust events industry, with many activities happening everywhere, from the annual Spring Market to the Record Store Day, during which independently owned record stores celebrate the unique culture of records by offering performances, special sales, and promotions. The bi-annual Crafty Bastards Arts & Crafts Fair, which was brought to Nashville in 2014, is also worth checking out for its craft beers and cocktails, food trucks, handmade goods, live music, and entertainment.

With its friendly residents, ideal location, and cosmopolitan lifestyle, Nashville is the ideal place to host an event. Different kinds of venues can be found in the city, from designer homes and bungalows to bars and music lounges, which are perfect for concerts and live performances. Plus, it's relatively affordable here compared with major cities like Los Angeles or New York City, so you can throw an amazing event without going over budget.

Event Options in Nashville

Catering
Your catering option will depend on the type of event you're organizing. For example, food trucks are an excellent option for open-air events like art fairs and farmers' markets, while buffets or sit-down meals are perfect for private events like birthdays and wedding receptions. When researching caterers, don't forget to read reviews left by past clients so you'll have an idea of their service.

Transportation
Nashville lacks a good public transportation system, so booking or hiring private vehicles during the days of your event will make it easy for your guests to arrive at the event venue. It also ensures their safety as they leave your event, especially if the celebration lasts until late in the evening.

Equipment
Chances are you'll need some sort of equipment for your event. The basics that you'll need are tables, chairs, lighting, sound systems, microphones, and projectors for playing videos. If you'll only be needing them for the event, it's more practical to rent them at minimal costs than purchase them outright. Nashville has plenty of equipment rental agencies to provide you with your needs.

Pros and Cons of Hosting Events in Nashville

When organizing an event in Nashville, it is worth considering the pros and cons associated with the city. This can help you make an informed decision and work towards creating a fantastic event.

Advantages

Location
Nashville has an ideal location and is well-connected to other major cities like Knoxville and Chattanooga, making it easy for out-of-town guests to reach.

It’s a friendly city
Most of the residents here are friendly and even strangers will stop to have a word with you. This lends a feeling of ease and positive vibes and allows you to interact easily with local vendors, event planners, and guests.

The music scene is great
In Music City, you will find many talented individuals who can offer their services as entertainers for your event. Nashville is famous for all types of genres (especially country music), which you can listen to in different places such as Basement East or Lindsley Bar.

Lower cost of living
Compared to other major cities like Austin or Denver, the average cost of living in Nashville is much lower. This means that hotels and services will also be relatively cheaper.

Plenty of things to do
Try a craft beer at one of its many breweries, such as the Big Trouble Brewing Company. If you are fond of nature, visit Public Square Park or Adventure Park. If you want to see some artworks, check out the Metro Parks Visual Arts and Centennial Art Center and the Frist Art Museum. For family-friendly entertainment, you can catch a show at the Nashville Children's Theatre.

Disadvantages

Lack of good public transport
Though not absent, public transportation options like buses in Nashville can be slow and limited. Consider providing transportation for your event guests so they can arrive at the event venue safely and on time.

Humid weather
Hoping to have your event outside? The summer months in Nashville are hot and humid, so if you are planning on booking your event space, try avoiding outdoor venues during these months.

Heavy traffic
The traffic in Nashville can be congested and heavy, so your guests will need ample time to travel to and from the event space. If possible, avoid scheduling your event during peak hours, which are 7 am to 9 am and between 4 pm and 6 pm.

Allergies
During the spring and summer, the pollen content in the air can be high. This could harm anyone who suffers from allergies. It won't hurt to inform your guests about pollen forecasts so they can prepare beforehand.
